Storage behind the seat
I have a Ford Ranger with the two jump seats. I will never use those seats so I am looking for some kind of storage or platform that would go around those seats. When I got the truck I wanted the seats removed but was told that they were bolted through the floor and that it would be a bad idea to remove them since any plug would allow rust to develop where there are holes. Is anyone aware of such a product? Or has anyone improvised something?

Take the seats out and put the bolts back in the holes. No more holes. 0 -

MT357 got it -- if that's not enough, put some silicone sealer on each bolt before putting it back in the hole.0 -
could always weld the holes too. 0
