Night Sights or a Taurus 1911A1 with night sights...which would you choose...

You are window shopping and both had great prices...You just had to take advantage of the deal...

    XD Sub Compact in .40 S&W! I haven't shot one yet but the fit is sweet. If I could, that would be my CCW of choice.

    I'm not a fan of the XD. Stinky trigger, IMO.

    So hands down: Taurus.

    Having the XD in 9mm... not the sub compact model, It's a great shooting gun, although I don't really care for the sub compacts to much, for my own reasons. So with that I'd have to go with the Taurus 1911 with night sights.

    To me that's comparing apples to oranges. For a CCW it would be the XD but for just plain old shooting it would be the PT1911.
