She is happy (sort of)....I don't know if I am!!!!
I bought my daughter a cell phone....and for a total of 6 hours or so I was fondly thought of by her. I got her one exactly like mine because we can use all of the same chargers and extras.
PLUS....she gets to learn how to use the thing and teach me about it.

Yep they love you about ten minutes when you buy them a new toy and then they get bored with it or want the latest and greatist that their friends have.
I say let them buy their own. My son loses them faster than he can get new ones. But its a game to get the latest updated popular phone. If they have to pay for the phones themselves they learn a lot quicker to take care of their stuff. Same with autos and all the other "Must Have" electronic junk.0 -

Pish Posh. I dont want the latest and greatest. I bought my own phone - 70 bucks. Gave my old one to my bro for 30 when i paid 90.

Oh I have harped on her already for whatever bill may come. She has unlimited everything to Verizon customers...and 500 whatevers to other types of services. She has sent 30 text messages in less than two days to someone that I KNOW has cingular service. We went back over things and she assures me that she can check her balance at any time and won't go wrong.
I have insurance on the phone so I hope she doesn't think I will just listen to what she wants. The whole point is to be able to learn about the thing and teach me about it.....since I have NO spare time any more.0 -

I hate cell phones but I needed one for work. The only thing I like is it has caller ID so I can ignore it if I want to. I put it on mute b/c I can't stand all the ringtones they have. 0
