anyone got a lead on good gun shops? you know, nice dirty old shops with stuff flowing on to the floors? not some hi tech cabelas crap store. thanks.

There are a few.
Little hole in the wall in pineville.
Hyatts in Charlotte is more high tech but worth a look.
And I can show you a few right near me about 20 miles south of charlotte in south carolina.
I just don't have all the names in my head, but I go to them quite often.

If you are going by Greensboro, Cherry's is close to the interstate. Colonial Gunstore at Hillsboro is worth a look, they usually have some higher grade shotguns. 0 -

Make sure to go to Firepower in Matthews. It is on Monroe Road by 51. Ammo is too expensive for me, but they do sell a lot of guns and they are cheaper than any other place around here. I am actually due for a visit. 0 -

The Greensboro Gun Show is this week-end at the Greensboro Coliseum (2/10-11) 9-5 Sat, 9-4 Sun. Usually a good show. They only do it twice a year. Big crowds, good selection/prices.
