A lady wrote the best letter in the editorials in ages!!!
It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.
Her point:
Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.
But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.
I've done all the things you don't like to do.
I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me and to my family
(my husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part).
If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.
It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself.
I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house.
And what a deal it is for me!!!
I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.
Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me.

The circumstances described are likely only valid in California and perhaps a few other states with poorly written laws. Montana? Now that's a different story. Remember, if something happened a rich white man made it happen and he will make money off it.
Why are people in this country? Because companies want their business. Try calling any bank, and you will hear some blubbering in spanish: to speak Spanish press 2". You think this is done for Legal immigrants? Yeah, right. Legal people who come here, know that we speak English here, not Spanish, not Russian, not Chinese.
Bank doesn't care, it is a corporation, it cares not for society and country, it wants to make money. So it gives them the business.
Employer, also is a business. He can pay some Mexican $10/hour on lets say a construction work, and pay him cash, not paying any taxes to US government, because he thinks that "Gumment is eevil... indeed", so he hires a mexican. He doesn't care about his society and his country. He cares only about making money, instead of hiring an american for $13 and pay taxes, he hires mexican for $10 and doesnt pay taxes.
A landlord wants to save money, he doesn't want to repair his substandart home, so he rents it ILLEGALY to a mexican for $500 instead of renting it LEGALLY to an American for $650 and pay taxes off it.
An american used to come to my parents house to do some lawn work. He charged $18 per hour and came when it was convenient to THEM. Then a mexican came, charged $15/hour and said that he only takes cash and only comes when it is convenient to him. They told him never to come near their house again and he accused them of being racist. My parents said that they would rather pay more to an american who speaks the language and not being an arrogant jerk, then to some mexican, who is obviously illegal, barely speaks English and thinks rather highly of himself.
When I came to the country, I never worked for cash, I learned English, I came to this country LEGALLY. I expect our Southern guests to do the same. Be immigrants and not violators of the border0 -
