Daily project done!
Just finished installing a ceiling fan in my bedroom.
For me that is an acomplishment as I do not know about that type of stuff![:D]
There was a reason that I was a truck driver![:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)]

The bad thing is, once you start sleeping under one, you can't sleep without one.[V]
Glad you got the job done. You'll enjoy it.[;)]0 -

Grass is too wet from the rain last night!
And I am not used to doing much anymore so I am relaxing untill it is time to go to my son's t-ball game tonight![;)]0 -
Good grief man! How high is your grass now, if it is still wet at 3:00 PM, from a rain last night?
See,........I knew you weren't cutting your grass, that's why I keep reminding you to do it![8D]0 -
Just hope the fan doesn't fall on you during the night. I would sleep with one eye open for a few nights just to be sure. [}:)][:D] 0 -
The ceiling fan in my living room/office runs 24/7, and needs replaced
every 7yrs or so. Now that you're a pro, I'll call you next time...
since it's a 22ft cathedral ceiling.[;)]0 -

Mr. Done, did you take down a light fixture to put up the fan? Most newer houses used electrical boxes that are designed to hold only the weight of a light fixture, about two pounds or less. They sell an electrical box that is designed to hold the weight of a ceiling fan. Don't want to scare you or nothing. Sleep tight! 0 -

The support is plenty strong as it is into the main cieling support for the mobile home here!
I had thought of that myself before installing.[;)]0 -
Eight months in the mobile home business, I've assembled and installed dozens of ceiling fans. Now when one needs replacing in our cottage, my wife does it. That way she doesn't have to hear me yak for hours about how many of the bastidges I've installed.
But I still have to mow the lawn.0 -
I freakin hate doing ceiling fans. I am a self-learned electrician, plmber, etc and that is the one thing I hate doing the most out of the things I can do. 0
