christmas movies.

My collection has sprung from shows that my parents and i watched every year. at first the only thing that was watched around that time was, rudolf, frosty, miracle on 34th street, and a christmas story. then when i got older, christmas vacation was added to the list this wasnt shown on tv but was rented and later bought. I know have all those shows on dvd and share them with my wife every year. Since our marriage 6 wonderful years ago, we have amassed christmas movies to the extent that they almost match the number of war movies i have. some of them of hand are, muppet christmas carol, jingle all the way, the santa clause I,II and III, deck the halls, christmas with the kranks, its a great christmas charlie brown, christmas in southpark, and its a wonderful life. those are the ones i can remember off the top of my head. We started watching them thanksgiving day and are still watching them. are there any movies or shows that are family traditions with you all?

    The only ones we watch with the kids are Rudolf and Frosty, plus the Santa Claus Trilogy, But I can not have christmas with out watching Christmas Story, I can lip that whole movie verbatum.

    Definitely Christmas Vacation, which used to be my favorite Christmas movie of all time until I saw Elf.

    The Santa Clause trilogy is very, very good.

    BTW, my favorite scene out of Christmas Vacation is when Clark greases up the flying disc and warns his family that this is experimental stuff and shouldn't be toyed with...

    Twenty five years ago HBO aired a Muppet movie called "Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas". The wife taped it and it's been a tradition for us ever since.
