Classico095: Do not paint all religions with the same brush. I consider myself a religious extremist. It's just that my view of God includes an understanding that he does not condone the murder of those who hold different beliefs. Or, for that matter, my own flesh and blood.

I wonder how Canadian law would look at thia? They are much more into Sharia law.

AHH: So soon we forget our past.. it was alright then but it isnt alright now.. If many christians had their way, our gubment would be run by religious extremeists and if it wasnt against the law, they would kill those that didnt agree with them.. It happened before, and I dont doubt it will happen again..[:(][:(]

Does Salem bring anything to mind?? All those poor people had to do was confess to casting spells or something and confess a belief in what those who accused them of being witches believed in. Those that confessed to exscape punishment were given a bible and put in jail for a while..

Christianity throughout history has been spread by the sword with violence. Only now it is with words because they figured out if they kept killing people that didnt believe, there woulndt be enough people left to support them financially..[:o)][:o)][:o)][}:)]

Classic095.....I hope you have more than that to use.

The Salem witch hunts happened almost 400 years ago and was a "classic" [:D] teaching in panic and mob rule.

How about something since the Constitution became law of the land.

I am not religious or care for religion, but I do not judge or dislike someone for being so!What I do hate with a passion is when one of those people try to impose there beliefs and religion on me!For the muslims, well anybody who kills for not wearing something or punished for being raped, I hope to see you in my cross hairs!!!!!

Yep the constitution and law made it against the law for the religious nuts to run the country and put people to death for not believing.. I dont know why Christian people want to deny the past and the attrocities Christians committed to people that didnt believe what they wanted them to. Just because they cant do it now does not releave the burden of the past actions committed in the name of a God.

Evil Witches", according to the early Christian church, never existed. But by the 15th century, the church had changed its mind. They taught that Witches did exist, that they sold their souls to Satan, flew through the air on broomsticks, were capable of shifting their shapes to resemble animals, and that they dedicated their entire life to harming and killing their victims. This fictional belief was used as justification for the church's subsequent burning at the stake of hundreds of thousands of religious heretics of all types.

Just because they cant do it today by law, doesnt mean their road to today isnt chocked full of holes..Why do christians want to ignore the past of their religion but condemn the past of all others????

My best guess would be to confound and piss people like you off [:D].

The roads you speak of are as old as the argument [}:)][;)].

Ho Hum, I must say; in reality I don't give a damn either way [:0][:I][8D].
