sad news (mother in law)
I have some sad news to pass on about my mother in-law. For many years she was the best Mil any one could ask for. Very early into our marrage she moved to Alaska, we would hear from her a few times a year. She would send the kids Christmas presents 2 weeks before Christmas and she never forgot their B-days.
Unfortunatley that has all ended now, with her recent moving on.

Sorry for your loss bang250.
However all is not gone, she lives on in the hearts of her family, especially the grandchildren.
When my MIL died we started the tradition of giving a small token gift to the kids on those special days. On the card we wrote: in our hearts we knew that Nana would want you to have this to remember her. They started a Nana shelf and all the gifts accumilated. That was nearly 17 years ago and although now grown they still look forward to what Nana would "want them to have this year."0 -
Oh no, no, no she didn't die. She moved back into town.
I like what you do though that is a good idea.0 -
