Where do they get them, I would like to get one for my house. Also do they make blanks for them?[:p]

That equipment that you see displayed is on loan from the US Goverment, and these organization can request this stuff for display but usually have to pay the cost to have it shipped from it's storage facility to it's display location. (costly) Generally this equipment has to be rendered useless by welding or removing the breech or plugging the barrels. A local town got a M60A3 tank. The local guard unit came down and removed the engine pack, breech on the main gun tube, and welded all the hatches close. These items are not available for private citizens. 0 -
I can't find the web site right now and don't have time to keep searching, but I have seen a site that had tanks, artillery, and anti aircraft guns for sale. They could be set up for powder charges with proper papers but could not fire a projectile. The artillery was trailer mounted, and the tanks motors would run and the tank could move under it's own power.
I remember this site from about 2 years ago as I was real curious and thought it would be neet to get something like that.
