Okay. So a person I know lives in California. He wants to purchase a weapon in Minnesota that is illegal in California. He then wants a person he knows in Minnesota to ship it to him in California on the down-low. What do you think of this idea ? Plausable ?

Gun Laws aren't the real problem in California. Diane Feinstein keeps getting re-elected is the real problem. She not only wants weapons out of California, she wants them out of the hands of every freedom loving honest person in these United States of America...

Mr. Cool- don't know what part of CA you are in, but you are describing a GREAT way to get up near Sacramento. Place called Folsom. Can it be done (shipping) ? Sure. Legally? No. Then after you get settled in really good there, make friends, get your cell decorated, etc, you wind up moving. You probably will not get to Leavenworth, KS- but to the Federal Pen in GA. Write soon.

In a word NO. While it may be likely that they could get away with it, the cost of getting caught far outways the benefits of owning the gun. Just have the guy in Minnesota keep it until the guy in CA gets the sense to move.

Interesting thought.

New York adopted the old 1994 ban that sunset in 2004 as state law. I found a seller that had an almost new SIG P-228 that I wanted. I asked him if he would mail the magazines to my father's house in Minnesota so that I could use them anytime I went home. He refused.

But, But, but....what if I want to get into a tizzy? I have the constitutional right to get into a tizzy. The Fourth, and 12th Amendments spell that out very clearly.
