Been a long time since I've done any art photograp
Among the many other things I've done in my life that really hasn't helped me any is study fine art photography for over two years at the University of Cincinnati. I haven't done any art photos for a number of years but yesterday I got myself a rather fancy digital camera and I took this shot in the parking lot.
Anyone recognize what you're seeing? I like these shots of repetitive objects forming a nearly unrecognizable pattern.

Not everyone appreciates these sorts of photos but I enjoy them. Give up? They are raindrops on the vinyl cover on my truck bed. You can see me reflected in every drop (if you can't make me out I'm the dark triangle form at the bottom of each drop of water).
I think I'm going to have fun with this new camera.

Pentax istD. Older model (came out in 2004) that's not the latest power and technology so the ones left in inventory are being reduced a bunch.
Has 6.1 megs of resolution which is enough for my use. Fairly compact body (unlike me
) and uses all auto-focus Pentax lenses (good for me as I have one already).
ZZ- Really cool imgae. Yours?0 -
I've always liked Pentax. When I used to hike the John Muir Trail during the summers - long ago - I always had a Pentax SLR in my pack. Super light/small/reliable. Nice choice.[:D] 0 -
Cool photo Saxon Pig, I am a very raw amateur, but I enjoy the macro settings on mine. The beauty of digital is being able to take so many shots and then pick out the good ones without the expense of developing film.
Small spider on lower middle leaf.
Sunset from my porch.
