Get an old U-Boat (or any old navy submarine) and bury it and use it as a fallout shelter. You could even use the torpedo tubes as an emergency escape tunnel.

  A submarine would last forever buried in the ground. And it is set up for the pressures of the deep so you could bury it pretty deep. It also has batteries and an engine that if vented properly, could keep you in power for a long time.

  LOL ... the old Soviet Navy has a couple hundred give-aways! All you have to do is drive the ole towmotor over and hook one up! You might have a reactor disposal problem but that shouldn't be a problem - call HAZMAT - they'd give you some ideas. I once met the bigtime CO over in ... oh, forget it. It's a can do, my friend!
