What does Zhen-tong (Chinese) mean in English...
I received an email from some folks claiming to be producers of scopes and optics in China. They were inviting me to check out their website but I'm afraid to click on the link b/c it might be some kind of virus. Anyone here bold enough to click on their link and see what happens???

Zhentong is a old chinese line of important people. A general, a poet, etc. There is a airsoft company of that name.[:D] 0 -
the co. might be legit, but it seems to me the 1 time I had contact with some chinese co, that's when I started getting all this junk email I never got before. just going to their website might give them your email from your cookies.
I know they have a thirst for emails. more than half of what I put up on ebay, that costs about 150$ or more, lately has got a chinese nonpaying bidder- they get your email address from the invoice, that's all they care about, and you get stuck waiting a week to do a 'nonpaying bidder' so you can get a fee refund before you can relist your item. they know since you're selling high dollar items, you got money to spend.
lots of lesser stuff I still get "ask the seller a question" emails that are nagging me to buy wholesale from them. frikkin' irritating.
so no, I'd advise not having any contact at all with them.
I haven't run across a chinese yet that wasn't ripping you off somehow. as far as I can tell, they're all ripoff artists.0 -
