In the dirt track thread, COLT posted about a buddy of his that died in what was planned to be his last race.
A gentleman that belongs to our American Legion had a stroke a month after he retired.
The head maintenance man for the largest factory here died of cancer 2 years after retiring.
Potential health issues, the rumblings of WWIII echoing around the world, the invasion of the undocumented aliens continuing unchecked and an economic depression looming, it sort makes a guy not too worried about saving for a retirement that prolly won't be there.

Why you worred bout something you cant change anyhow Henery,I aint worryed bout dyin in over 40 years!I live everyday knowin i did the best i could do,raised 5 great kids,always worked,served my country best i could.married 2 fine women who are both gone now but i relish there mememories,and best of all at 83 i still take care of myself and ask no one for help.My biggest worry in life now is not outliving my new little buddy oscar#2 and thats the truthSo all i can say is live the best you can ,dont worry bout the rest!Thanks,Paul 0 -

Henry, if you see the glass as being half-empty, then for sure you'll be sad about not having everything you wanted in life - whatever that may be. If, on the other hand, you see it as half-full, then you probably treasure and enjoy what you already have. It's truly all about how we view ourselves, our lives, those around us, etc.
