Who knows anything about Goji...
Supposedly some Chinese herbalist lived 252 years and he attributed it to this Goji juice. He was born in 1678 and died in 1930...and his lifespan has been documented and verified by modern scholars. This stuff sounds like some kind of miracle juice...Have any of you heard of it???

I stopped drinking it this year, at the age of 243. Really got tired of paying income tax on my social security payments...so, it won't be long now...I hope.[xx(] 0 -
My aunt's Dr suggested it. She eats the Goji berries. I have not really looked into it. 0 -

Well, it must work, you're still alive.0 -
No juice can prolong human life for 200 years past expectancy. The law of averages says that some nature of accident would kill you before then. If you look at the past history of China during that period they killed the population of the entire country off about once a century.
I do have a "special powder" that will drive 180 grain 30-06 bullets at 6,000 FPS with 1 inch groups common at 1,000 yards.
Let me know how many "pounds" of it you want. [:D]0 -

Oh come on now, you just have to "believe". Everyone knows that the only reason we don't live longer is because of a conspiracy between the Docs and the undertakers.
BTW, will that powder hold the same velocity out of a ten inch barrel on a Contender?0 -

Pretty selfish SOB. He outlived 23 wives according to the tale, he might at least have given them some of it.[:D]0 -

Li, Qing-Yun was born in 1678 AD (Qing Kang Xi 17th year) in Qi Jiang X-i-a-n, Sichuan province. Later he immigrated to Kai X-i-a-n. He died in 1928 AD at the age of 250 years. When he was 71 years old, (1749 AD, Qing Qian Long 14th year), he joined the army of provinvial Commander-in-Cheif Yue, Zhong-Qi. Most of his wives died early, so during the course of his life he married fourteen times.
Li was an herbalist, and skilled in Qigong and spent much of his life in the mountain ranges. in 1927 General Yang Sen invited Li to his residence in Wan X-i-a-n, Sichuan province, where a picture was taken of him. Li died the next year when he returned from this trip.
After he died, General Yang investigated Li's background to determine the truth of his story, and later wrote a report about him titled A Factual Account of the 250 Year Old Good Luck Man, which was published by the Chinese and Foreign Literature Storehouse, Taipei, Taiwan.
All of the information available indicates that the story is true. Li, Qing-Yun's legacy to us is the fact that it is possible for a human being to live more than 200 years if he knows how. Because of this we deeply believe that, if we humbly study and research, the day will come when everyone will live at least 200 years.

Now. I have told you in the past about Chinese meditation practices and their benefits, but you (all, as far as I can tell) don't believe me. I have told you that I have studied much about the subject and have a wealth of knowledge on it. but you didn't believe what I had to tell you. fine, then believe the words quoted above. they are the words of Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming, who has been described by Black Belt magazine as the most important literary contributor to martial arts in the last 100 years. opposite that page in the book I just typed it out of, there is the picture of Li, Qing-Yun, at age 249. he looks very old indeed.
believe me, then, when I tell you this. Qigong is real and it works. no "goji tea" or miracle elixir will make you live that long; the Chinese already searched for 4000 years for such a thing before they discovered what the answer was to long life and perhaps immortality. with Li, Qing-Yun it was his practice of Qigong and his knowledge of herbs (most of which are probably now extinct) that proved it to you- there were others you don't know about from longer ago.
you just don't believe. that's ok, nobody is forcing you. proof just passed right in front of you and you ignored it.
I will not divulge the other things I know about this.0 -
Aha - part of the DaVinci code conspiracy.

The muzzle blast will singe your eyebrows off.
It is GUARANTEED TO SHOOT 1" at 1,000 yards OR YOUR MONEY BACK....(less S&H)

I don't want to live that long.... all my friends here on GB would be dead. The never ending arguement about _______ (fill in blank) would be posted for the 86,392nd time.
Besides that; I've had three wives. Number three is a keeper; why the heck would I torture myself 14 times?0 -

Id like to read what these scholars have to say, do you have a link to the old Bast**d?0 -
Thirty years ago, the world was watching 150-year old Russian villagers eat yogurt in Dannon's then TV commercials. And as a result, the world went full tilt boogie, buying yogurt and scarfing it down. Granola sales rose as did fresh fruit sales. Someone IMO came up with a terrific marketing ploy there.
I do not for even one minute believe in any magic elixir of life. And, judging by what pretty much everyone in the world looks like at 90, I don't think I'd want to be around, slowly turning oxygen into carbon dioxide, at say 200 or 240.
The "grim reaper" does not get denied his fee very often. While the Yankees part is an off and on kind of thing, Death and Taxes remain inevitable.[;)]0 -

Total BS.. is that Old fart in the guiness book of records?0 -
I really doubt the validity of any scholar that would verify a person to be that old. 0 -
I know about it - stopped drinking it because it tends to make your Wilsons

it for years.[:D]0
