Wife's going camping
You would have to know her. Mrs. jbc's idea of roughin' it is Holiday Inn Express and 7-11 coffee. Next weekend she takes my daughter camping for two nights, with the Brownies. Tents, campfires, mess kits, sleeping bags and NO hot water. I wish I could go in her place.....well, except for all the screaming 8-10 year old girls. I'll have to wait till the 5year old boy get's into scouts.
Anyway, She gets home Sunday afternoon, for a Mother's Day dinner. I was thinking a bottle of her favorite red wine, steaks on the grill, steamed asparagus, marinated sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzerella and basil and a massage[}:)]. What are you planning for the Mother of your kids? Did I miss something?
Anyway, She gets home Sunday afternoon, for a Mother's Day dinner. I was thinking a bottle of her favorite red wine, steaks on the grill, steamed asparagus, marinated sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzerella and basil and a massage[}:)]. We will driving back from Spokane on Mother's day. Oh goody, all couped up in the car for 6-7 hours!! 0 -
I'll be here working a 12 night shift, so she'll be getting whatever she wants for herself. I'll probably call her sometime in the night though, just to let her know I'm thinking of her. 0 -

Sounds like a you have a good plan jbc23060! But take that asparagus, sprinkle it with a little good olive oil, salt it lightly, and throw it on the grill with your steaks! My favorite steak house does asparagus this way and it is unreal! Good stuff!

My ex is 3000 miles away!
If she calls I'll probly let her talk to the kids, but that is as much as I'm doing.
Kids could not send a card or call because we have no contact info for her. So it is up to her to call and such.0 -
