Anyone using the Laser Shield system?
Story in the paper this morning about this inexpensive home security system that can be set up by the homeowner in about 3 minutes. Has a receiver and a motion detector that simply plug into the electrical outlet and the phone jack. Covers a 35x35 area (extra motion sensors at $70) and the service is optional but seems reasonable at $20 per month. Service calls cops (except in bondai's case since they won't come to his house) but it still sounds an alarm without the service.
I like the way it looks. The main room downstairs in my house is the most likely point of entry for a burglar and it's also where the safes are located so it's the room I worry about the most. I think this unit would cover this room and I would feel better when away with the system in place.
Anyone have any experience with this thing?

i got brinks installed in my entire house w/2 motion 2/door sensors, and smoke/fire cheaper than that0 -
