Psychic Detectives
My wife has been watching these "Who-Done-It" programs on the Discovery Times and various other channels. One of the programs is Psychic Detectives or something like that. It is a program where the police are totally baffled about "who-done-it" and call in the psychics to figure it out for them. At the end of the program, they ask the viewers to call in and give them tips to solve the case.
Last night it occurred to me that not long ago police departments had Bunco Squads with the sole purpose of putting these folks behind bars. Now they pay them to pull the same stunts on the police. It just struck me as humorous. Times change.
