    roight... it's easy to be tough when you (not you, zipperzap, a generalized "you") have 40 lbs on your opponent. These types aren't very tough when they get a response. Those guys aren't officers, btw, either. Anyways, there's a certain phenomenon that exists in Russian society, it's a long story and probably not very many people here would be interested.

    We used to host - for about ten years - Fullbright Scholars who were sent to the University of California system. They would stay with us for anywhere from a week or two to a month or two.

    Those striped T-Shirts are a dead give away - they are naval. I used to collect uniforms and some have sent me modern (USSR) uniforms - parts and pieces (medals/hats/patches).

    The Afgans hated the Marines so much that they'd generally - if given enough time - skin them alive upon capture. Of course, the Marines , in turn, with the same vigor provided different types of treatment to the Afgans.

    I found most Russian, generally, over educated, under employed, and really nice people.

    Of course, there are exceptions to everything.
