Too Many Questions?

Been a shooter about 55 years, reloader since '74, owned, shot, swore at, enjoyed, drooled over, lots of firearms.

During that time, lots & lots of questions entered my mind (I'm an Engineer by profession).

I'm hoping to not become too boring by posting them, as they pop back into my head. I KNOW lots of people, especially gun-owners, know a hell of a lot more than I do, and will welcome input.

Still, if I get carried away, don't hesitate to tell me!

    Most of my years spent in big cities, Chicagoland, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Fort Wayne, everyone bottled-up like in a big cage. Now, no town, closest one 10 miles, 300 pop.

    Do I like you? If you're writing in a gun-owner forum and not knocking gun ownership by people other than law enforcement, of course I like you!!

    I was formerly wrong about nearly everything, like trusting my "elected leaders", voting being a means to bring about positive change, thinking a man's personal integrity was solid forever, that money was not the deciding factor when considering decency...........

    Actually, I'm a pretty "up" individual, just trying to fake you out!

    If it remains the same after I reach #100, you are rock-solid in my book! (Only a few give a poop about my book).

    (edited)An example of "obey, or else". The system changed my "s" word in the sentence above. I know the "a" word works, because I've used it. Do you suppose sufficient redeeming value has been shown so far to warrant my being allowed to remain active here?

    OK one question is your limit for this week. Newbies are limited to one a week until they have 5500 questions, then they can post up to 3 per week (2 if you expect answers, 1 if you don't pay for the answers).

    Very doubtful I'll live 5500 more weeks, especially if some members find out where I am!

    BTW, what's the going price, if I decide to pay??

    Reminds me of the time John Wayne told Bruce Dern as they walked away from the set where Dern had just shot Wayne in the back, "They're gonna hate you for that"!

    The forum only responds politely to questions such as: 1) is it daylight where you are?? 2) is it night where you are?? 3) Does it come with the original box - Oh, wait - forget that last one.

    to ask.

    I believed him and found that he just didn't bother to answer my 'silly ones' - he was
    an engineer, too.

    No hard feelings.
