Speed traps
My wife and I meet some friends at the beach this weekend. We drove different cars and the other couple got a speeding ticket. They went through a speed trap and the officer said that since they were not from the area that he would write them a ordinace ticket for 35 dollars. The policeman followed them to the courthouse to pay the ticket. They have a court just for them tickets on the same day. They paid 35 dollars and were gone. They were happy that they did not get a speeding ticket i was mad because its bull crap.[:(]

Seems another small town near me, is in the news about speed traps.
Coopertown, off of I24 was warned by the Feds, a while back, about their speed traps aimed at soldiers to and from Fort Campbell.
Now it's Smyrna, tenn. [xx(]

Go into your state and then your town. You will see where they are located plus other information. This is interesting. When you get the web site up, click on the state.
Then the next window is a listing of all the cities in that state. Click on your city and there are the speed traps listed.
