I'm in the market for a new digital
camera any suggestions?
$200.to $400.

    Go to a pawnshop. I have a big Canon for $495, regularly $799. in camera shops. Uses interchangable lens.

    E-bay. Tons of types. One stop shopping. Cheap. Don't have to leave the computer. Know your cameras, though. I got a Sony digital w/a Zeiss Jena lens for $65. After the purchase, plenty of your budget left over for ammo. Good luck! Joe

    EDIT: It's a plus if you have closeup photography capability. Good for posting tight-shots of your toys on this forum. Joe

    Canon has a sweet little A-550 with a 7.1 meg, 4X zoom and very good Macro capabilities for less than $150.00 at Circut City and most other places.
    A excellent camera for the money.....

    I use a Connon Power shot SD 1000. Very compact. 7.1 mrga pixels.

    Panasonic Lumix cameras have great image stabilization, 3" LCD's, 7+MP. I love mine, the batteries give me 250+ pics. Consumer Reports likes them as well.

    The all fit nicely in your price range, some even under.

    I love mine! It takes great pics and is well within your price range!

    It allows you to compare cameras of the same/different price
    levels (can't think of the better word). I have never gone wrong
    since I discovered dpreview.
