Dont you people ever get cold...
I see all the post about how cold it is, here and other forums.....up here we have had pretty mild winters here for several years now....we have at the coldest been in the teens below zero a hand full of times, back in the old days Jan and feb you could get 20-30+below zero temps for weeks at a time....when it got to zero or above little bit felt like short sleeve weather..not any more, not that i am complaining....hell i dont even have much of my winter clothes out yet and spring is getting close. [:D]

This is the first time we have had anything close to a "winter" in YEARS.
I have a down coat around here someplace.
Think I saw it about 3 years ago.
Haven't felt the need to dig it out yet.

It usually takes several days but you usually aclimate (sp) to the cold. The problem is it only takes one day of warm weather and it seems like you have to start all over again. That said alternating days of cold and warm make the cold harder to get used to. Wind is also a big factor and wind chill does not give you the complete picture. I would rather be out in a -20 degree day with no wind than a zero degree day with a 5 mph wind. We also have a very dry cold. Don't laugh it makes a big difference. 0 -
It's zero here and not expected to be much above 5 or so for the rest of the week. I'm out and about every day. Dress in layers and I'm not bothered by the cold. I do sometimes have a problem with a couple of fingers that got dislocated 20 years ago, but, I just stick my hand under my arm for a couple of minutes until it goes away. 0 -

expecting 3-4 inches of rain come thursday. the first real rain of winter out here in ca coast.Today it was cold about 69 degress.[:D] 0
