Jeez I saw that as a first run movie in the early 50's, and thought it kinda hokey then.

Well obviously old enough to have seen it in the 50's. I saw them all, Them, Rodan, The Tingler, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Mothra, Tarantula, The Colossus, Plan 9 from outer space, Forbidden Planet, the Crimson Cape, Beneath the 12 Mile Reef, War of the Worlds and many more. Saturday movies cost .15, a coke .10 and a Slowpoke .05. That would hold you through two cartoons, Flash Gordon and the movie. I did not miss many Saturdays. Mr. Wizard didn't seem hokey at the time.

I saw all those movies too, and Mr. Wizard still isn't hokey. My son 37 yrs thinks these movies are the best.Just got him The Forbidden Planet Collectors Edition,has a little robot in the case,great Christmas present.

He Dog I use to watch all of those movies, got them from the library
in 8mm. Great to see on the hunting trips when we got back to camp.
