All I see is one weird way to grip a pistol.

Guess we all learn a little different.

yep, i'm gonna have to do it the right way with this gun because it sends the casings right back at my head when i dont. i've heard that alot of women grip pistols this way... you may have also seen this technique used in a movie or two.[:p]

Photo reminds me of a line in an old Dick Tracy limerick; "There I stood looking at two .38's......and a gun".

    [;)][}:)][:p]

    Anyone remember the whole limerick?

Many people might be scared of that pic - but once you realize that it is an HK, you can rest easy.

A Highpoint, Ruger, RIA, Glock, Beretta, etc. or other lower "econo" makers - absolutely, run for cover, those third world brands can just go off at any time without warning.

But once you decide that quality is more important than quantity, you also can join the elite club that is Heckler & Koch.

HBBG - yeah, she's got class.

I don't see how it is any of those...just take the Camera, set it for timed shutter release, pick up the unloaded pistol, practice your grip and stance, wait for the flash. It is pointed in a safe direction, unloaded, and this we are talking about is just a bunch a data bits!!!!

Is the mere thought, in and of itself, of a gun pointing at you offensive/scary/out of bounds? Then you need to look to your thoughts.

I am sure that folks are (rightly) offended when they see a weapon pointed them in real life, but....sheesh.

When anyone goes to a simulator for training, they recognize that "this is for training, to make me better able to handle real situations"...do you take exception to those instances, too??

What about printed targets with a bad guy holding a hostage, and pointing a gun at you? Those are good, right? This is less of an affront than that.

And to those who modify their actions to mollify their opponents, whether they be anti-gun or whatever - you are giving up control to what you THINK they are thinking, thus you are not even rational, and you are just their pawn, at best.

Not trying to be a troll, just holding fast to my beliefs.

I like the picture, it looks like a good shot. Might try taking one like that myself. Yeah, I was concerned at first, but you can set the camera timer to go off and just pose in front of it. It's not like some pictures here looking down the barrel and seeing a hollowpoint inside by looking right down into the gun. Those concern me.

In these modern ages of technology it is no longer necessary that a person be behind a camera for it to take a picture.

" In these modern ages of technology it is no longer necessary that a person be behind a camera for it to take a picture."

The technology also doesn't require anyone to be holding a firearm in order for it to shoot you.

    Visible empty chamber.
