Computer Related Question for You Tech Savy Types
I'm trying to download a video off of a news website. A friend had recommended getting a video downloader freeware program, but the ones I have found only work with youtube and google video. I guess the news site has better programming/security features. It is a streaming video set-up of a local news story. Anybody know of some freeware or shareware software they can recommend that might do the trick? Thanks.

Don't know of any, but I would call the TV studio and see what they suggest. Try to talk to an engineer, systems administrator or some other tech weenie.

A lot of webmasters adjust the coding so you cannot download and save their videos. They do not want it spread all over the internet. You Tube is in trouble because of this.....0 -

you need to use fire fox as a browser and it will download in a fly. file so you have to convert it but youll have it on your hard drive!
Im no geek but it works for me.And its free!0
