Commercials You Hate?

Anyone want to vent about a TV ad you just hate? I am sick of this guy named "Billy Mays". This guy grates on my nerves with his shouting and lately he seems to be on every other spot. As soon as I hear his voice I change channels. Also a little tired of the Gecco. The guy chewing gum and sticks it in a leaking dam. Hate that one. Guys smacking on burgers like pigs, another channel switch. They say you will remember the product anyway because the ad irritated you , but I usually have a negative view of the product if I hate the ad.

    Another ad that drives ya nuts is the head on commercial, you know the one that keeps saying the name while the ugly girl puts it on her forehead.

    -Regular tv does not hold my attention. I can't STAND freaking advertisements. I don't care if they make all the tv programs possible. That jackass Billy Mays turns my stomach! There used to be one on the Los Angeles channels for a mens' clothing store called Zachary All. The guy did his own commercials. A real stomach turner, that one was. Later, he had his idiot son take over the business and HE started doing the commercials. God help us!

    By the way - the way I get around the commercials is by recording everything on a DVR(TiVo sort of thing), then when I play it back I just skip the commercials. It also cuts program length by around 20 percent.

    This is a great tool for the electronics widget junky.

    Costs me $5 per month for each unit, through Direct TV.

    Years ago, in the breakroom at work there I was just about to bite into my sandwich, and I hear some woman on TV touting "I've been using the same tampon for twenty years"!!!

    my first thought was "throw the damn thing away, bitch"!!!
