Picked up this Push Button Bayonet yesterday at the Flea Mkt. Why? I dont know, just kinda liked it, I will probably modify it to make a push button hunting knife out of it..

    I've been looking at buying an ak.Atlantic Arms sells one called the Vector.Has anyone here ever had any experiece with the company or this type of rifle?

    Will a double hook trigger get rid off excess trigger pull.I have a single hook trigger in my gun and hate it. THANKS

    If it were me I would buy another Romanian SAR-1, but there nearly impossible to find. You can buy a WASR but I cant speak for their quality. The reason I say the SAR-1 is because I have one and its an excellant rifle. I also have a VEPR-K which was much more expensive and a great AK but has nothing over the SAR-1 IMHO.

    I would buy a Krebs Custom KTR03V. Only costs about $1k.

    Otherwise I'll stick with the 4 I have now and 2 in the works.

    My WASR-10 Romanian does a great job. Just check them before you buy them as some tend to have more slop in the mag well than others. Mine has very little slop. Shoots great groups at 200 yards keeping everything in the size of a pie plate.

    I like Bulgarians. Better attention to detail is given to their fit and finish. Below is my SLR 101-S with maple stocks from Ironwood.

    If you do decide to go with a Romy AK, I would recommend you buy it from a place where you can handle a couple of them. There are somethings to look out for. Canted front sights and canted gas blocks can be found on just about any AK but occur a little more frequently with Wasr's.

    Ive got the Romanian Wasr-10 and its got a little play in the mag well but not enuff to bother me. Its a great gun IMHO. i only paid 400 for it and it came with the sling and cleaning kit.

    Mine didn't come with the sling or cleaning kit but it was new and I paid $280 including shipping.

    Yea I know. I almost got another yesterday. there was one on GB for $355 NIB WASR with no bids and only 1 hour left. I almost jumped on it but it would have cut into my AR & M1 fund so I passed.

    The new M70's with the underfold stock are some of the highest quality stamped AK's I have seen since the SAR-1's went out of production.

    Anyone have a cheap supplier for 7.62X39? Even Wolf going for around $180/1,000. About a year ago I thought this stuff was going for $100/1,000? Thanks
