Life of collector - In response to "Must haves"
IN ORDER
1.) Cap Gun, comes right along with the toy dart gun, but after the totally fake "growler" guns. Summer versions included Water guns (pre high tech monster loaders)
2.) BB Gun- Learn markmanship and safety, I didn't shoot my eye out after all!
3.) 410/20 gauge Shotgun &/or a .22 rifle- First "huntin" guns- Yuck Granpa made me eat the damn squirels we killed, I started target shooting more!
4.) .22 Pistol- Gotta Plink man, down at the trash dump soup can city, and god help a rat ( good thing grandpa wasn't around no more!)
5.) 12 gauge semi auto or pump if you can't afford the s/a- cause you grew up, now here some traded off the .410 or 20 real collectors got dad to let them keep it or bought it outright!
6.) Now your a man, bolt action hunting rifle, 7mm Rem mag or similar, would have been .308 but times are a changin, if you live where you shoot little creatures from a LONG way maybe a lighter flat trajectory round.
7.) .357 or .44 magnum revolver- Moved out u need a defensive revolver. Dont count on semi autos for defense!
8.) Now your shoppin for fun, an AR-15, an M-1A, you go boy! Pick up that 1911, or the Fancy 9mm semi with rosewood or mother of Pearl
grips, stainless finish with gold trim! How about something like the Barret .50? Cause now your addicted! You can't help it you will buy more cause you NEED to

NEED TWO GUNS IF THIS WAY
STICK WITH THE 357 SO ONE GUN AND TWO DIFF CALIBERS TO BE USED IN ONE GUN, EASIER TO GET 38 & 357 THAN 44 MAG0 -

Well sure, it you are a Mississippi River gambler, a hooker or live in San Francisco. Didn't just typing that set your Gaydar off?[}:)]0 -
mongley- Pretty funny, very similar to my gun acquiring sequence. Except, I think I went the route of 1911, before .357/.44. 0 -
Hey what about for when you get real old and you cant see no more, then you cut the .12 gauge off and make it a scatter gun? 0 -
OK OK I can't help it, I like showy guns, I bought the Bushmaster Carbon 15 with the fluted barrel, and the Ruger Cocobolo gripped Hunter MK III, (I have a thing for Fluted Barrels) (I know that makes me Gay too) also the Beretta CX4 Storm all because I like the way they look so please tell me does this mean I'm GAY!?
OK if I am, I dont know it yet cause I dont even like the Dr. stickin his hand up my ass much less anything else. But I actually bought the Taurus 9mm in SS with Rosewood grips, so nah but I did like the picture of the MOP ones! Ooops there I go again. Jeez Gay guns huh? oh well at least I didn't suggest a pink chartruse one with frilly things on it hey fellow.0 -
