I don't think any one should hate Muslims, anymore than anyone should hate Christians, or Jews, or any other religion. Its the extremists that give all Muslims a bad name. And besides that, what we do (as a country) to the muslims is terrible, something on the scale of the japanese camps there were in WW2.

How many more incidents like this before everyone hates the Muslims. Or are the libs so stupid as to not be jaded by this incident? They are having less and less support by non-Muslims and yet they still alienate some of their non-muslim allies.

    Why limit yourself to only one religion? Similar headlines could have abounded (but didn't);

"Witch not burnt, kicked out of Salem"

"Mormon and only one wife; a new cult?"

"Muslim marries old maid, 19 next month"

"The Jew and the pork sausage, hidden for so long"

Lots of rediculous customs sprout from embracing superstition, some harmless, many a genuine danger.

Would you please expand on that statement while I swallow a blood pressure pill?

That won't prove popular here. In addition you should also be prepared to actively dislike gays, people who don't support prayer in school (prayer to Jesus only), Mexicans, blacks, most immigrants and their support groups who lead protests (illegal or oterhwise) and a whole host of other groups which either need to be silenced or exterminated. When you joined the site didn't you get the "welcome" packet outlining exactly how you are supposed to think and act around here? Unless you enjoy being insulted (don't ask me how I know this) you may want to rethink your positions and join lock-step in line with the group.

I'm meeting with an Arab man today to rent him a home in my neighborhood. I presume that he is a Muslim. He is the most qualified applicant to lease this house, so It looks like he will be my new neighbor. As the property manager I will have monthly dealings with him.

Now how will I treat him and his family? Well lets think about this. As a representative of the Church and Christ Himself, I will offer the family welcoming hospitality, respect, and sincere friendship. I am quite sure that we will get along just fine, and they will have an opportunity to see for themselves the love of Christ in action.

This family is from Syria. I'm sure that if the roles were reversed and I moved to his country, being a Christian, of Jewish descent, that I would be welcomed by the Muslims in the same way that he will be by a Christian here. Radical Christianity indeed. [:(!]

You guys do know that there were Japanese imprisonment camps during WW2 right? And that a lot of Japanese were rounded up and put into these camps, at the onset of the war, due to mass hysteria about Pearl Harbor?
Executive Order 9066, signed by President Roosevelt in 1942, resulted in forced interment of 120,000 people of Japanese decent. More than two thirds The order was rescinded in 1944, and the last of the camps was closed in 1946. Now, I'm not defending the Japanese for what they did. My Grandpa was on the submarine The Archerfish, which sunk the Japanese carrier Shinano. That sinking was the largest ship sunk by any sub, ever. He was also at the Japanese surrender. After all this, he didn't hate the Japanese. He even went back to Japan several times after the war, and even to this day, when I go into his room, there is Oriental art, and other things relating to the Orient all over his room.

I'm not saying that some Muslims hate Americans, because its obvious that some do. I'm saying, to stereotype anyone, because of religion, sexual orientation, race, etc. To do so goes against what this country was founded on, equality and freedom from persecution, for everyone.

And where exactly are these Muslim internment camps located? I'd like to send them my teddy bear,"Muhammad", for Christmas.

Still waiting to hear how Muslims are being treated like the japanese following pearl harbor..........

BTW, this country was NOT based on freedom and equality to everyone, it was based on freedom and equality for all of THIS nation's citizens.

They were called "internment" camps,.........and yes, I believe everyone here, knows THEY existed.
WTH are the ones for the Muslims in this country?
You make a misleading statement, and then come back acting like folks are idiots.
We want to know where the Muslim internment camps in this country are located, as per your original post.

I NEVER said that there were internment camps for muslims, nor did I say that they were being treated the SAME as the Japanese. What I did say was that the way they get treated, on a whole, is terrible. Its on par with the internment camps in WW2. NEVER did I once say that they're getting treated the same, or that there are camps for them.

Did anyone see in the news that some city out west, I forget if its San Diego, San Francisco, or LA, but one of the big cities out there wants to start a database of where all the Muslims are, where they live and where theirs Mosques are. [V]

Well Tavis, let me make a few points. It seems to me that if the moderate Muslims were standing up for America, and denouncing the acts of terrorism committed against the U.S. and it's interests, then they may be seen in a different light. Opposed to the celebrations in the streets of Dearborn on Sept. 11th, 2001. Next point, if the moderate Muslims in the U.S. would stop asking for special treatment such as public foot baths at airports, universities, and public schools. Wearing burkas for drivers license photos. Cabbies refusing to take fares who have alcohol, pork, or a seeing eye dog with them then we may see them in a different way. So I'll ask, what are the moderates doing to publicly show their love and support of America? They seem strangely silent to me. So where does their loyalty lie? Lets face facts, moderate Muslims are not exactly known for leading the charge against radical Islam.

Perhaps you don't know the meaning of "on par". It stems from latin 'par' meaning equal. It is contemporarily defined as an equal or common status, standing, footing, level, etc

    In red above.
Correct, But sadly the ratio of extremist Muslims seems to be about 80% extremist and 20% peaceful. The world cannot co-exist with that for long.

Now someone here could call me on this by saying that with the billions of Muslims the world, we have not seen 80% of them act crazy. But when Muslims get a chance to act they seem to usually take the extremist decision. Like the way they acted about the English teacher and her Muslim class naming their teddy bear Mohamuded. And like the Muslim woman getting gang raped and them the Muslim court punishing here with imprisoment and lashes. And on and on and on. You watch the news so you can probably give me more examples of such crazy extremist behavior than I can.

Just exactly what is the "way they get treated on a whole" here in the U.S. you are referring to. Some city wanting to do something is not the same as doing it or it standing up in a court of law even if they do. What I would like to see is world leaders from Muslim nations making a clear announcement to the world that the antics of the idiots in the Sudan that want to kill this teacher are totally unacceptable. How long should I hold my breath for that to happen???? The longer world leaders keep silent, the longer we hear nothing from religious leaders in this and other countries, the more suspicious people will become of them. The obvious conclusion most people will make is if you are silent you must be in agreement with these loons and therefore against America. Show me how I am wrong.

Tavis mentioned in another thread that he is a college student. He may still be a bit idealistic, as young guys tend to be. In a few years he will see these things differently I suspect. [:)]
