"In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.   Hedog: people dont want to hear that :Christianity" came from a conglomeration of pagan rituals, and folk lore and astronomy. And a good upstanding Atheist cant get to their heaven because you have to be a sinner and belive that you are forgiven no matter how amuch of a terrible life you led, If you believe you will be saved. YEP! good people cant, but the sinners can..[}:)]

  Classic: Christianity did not come from a conglomeration of folk lore, astronomy, ect. The Christ who Paul and the Apostles witnessed is the same Christ that I and other Christians know and live with today. He is the same now as then. The same thing that happened to Paul on the road to Damasus almost 2,000 years, and that happened to John Newton crossing the Atlantic 250 years ago, is the same thing that happened to me eight years ago. Folklore can't do that, but the living GOD can! [:)]
  And for the record, I don't believe anyone, Christian or athiest or agnostic or anything else can be a completely, 100% good person. We all fall short, thats the very reason that Christ came and wrote that big check, signed in blood, to pay our debt in full. But I do agree with you that an athiest/agnostic can be a nice, moral and likable person, and even a good friend. [:)] Just my 2 cents on the subject.
