Should have required them to be registered and the person taking possession should have had a FOID card, then this would have never happened. 0 -
It was reported on the news that the insurgents were now using the m16's against us.
Most likely because the AK's and 7.62 ammo are so hard to come by in that part of the world. Not to mention the reliability.0 -

Please tell me you're joking... The only reason I could see that an insurgent would want to use an M16 is because it makes him look more like an American/Iraqi soldier on the battlefield, or it's a trophy they took.
The AK kills the M16 at reliability. Anyone who argues different is insane or ignorant.0 -

Of course I'm joking. I could see them selling the weapons on a foriegn market however to generate cash flow.0
