    Bobski,,,I know your a true believer but don't you think you sound like the arabs in Stockhom? I mean it's OK to have your own beliefs but the question is are you going to put out a contract on wallie for drawing gods face? Wallie might have drawn it right ya know, or have you seen him?

    Ya know Wallie, this may disapoint you but the various denomination tend to agree on about 99% of all doctrain. Yes some make a bid deal about what we don't agree on, but in the end we are on the same side.

    You guys need to lighten up. sav99 if the denominations only disagreed on 1% of all doctrain we would't have hundreds of different denominations. God must have a good sense of humor or he would have KerBoomed us all thousands of years ago. Remember Jesus and do the best you can is all that is required. Think about that last picture, some of you are exactly who the Earthlings are.

    Christian sects argue about baptism -- does it need to be done as an adult, or is baptising a baby worthwhile? Must it be done with water or oil? Must it be full-immersion in water, or will sprinking the forehead suffice? Is baptism even required for salvation?

    Christian sects argue about communion. Must it be done every time you get together? Must it be done only monthly? Must it be done at all?

    Christian sects argue about works. Is there faith without works? Can you go to heaven without works?

    Christian sects argue about mediation. Must you see a priest to talk to God, or can you do it on your own? Must a priest absolve you of sin, or is that something just between you and God?

    Christian sects argue about what day to worship. Is it Saturday or Sunday? When is the Sabbath?

    Christian sects argue about what books make up the Bible.

    Christian sects argue if there is one way to heaven, through Jesus, or are there multiple ways to heaven?

    Christian sects argue about abortion.

    Christian sects argue about homosexuality.

    There is a lot, lot more than 1% difference between the various Christian religions.

    Granted, much of what is being argued about isn't a big deal. IMO, the only thing necessary is believing that Jesus is the Christ and attempting to follow Him. Anything else is merely symbolic.

    When you look at what we agree on, its a solid 99%. Less obvious naturally because its not being discussed.
