Would you buy this?
I like kinetic targets. Spinners are fun and all but....
What about a small RC armored vehicle? So your buddy stands behind you with the controls and drives the little thing around the range while you take pot-shots at it.
Yes, you could just shoot up a regular RC toy car, but that could get expensive. Then I thought about armoring a regular RC toy car, but I don't think it would move very fast once armored. If I ever get a real job that pays a bit, I might undertake this as a project.
So is it just me, or does this sound like fun?

A co-worker of mine offered me a S&W Sigma SW40VE, .40 cal with stainless slide and one 14 rd. mag, has had 300 rds in range time with reportedly never a hiccup for $200.
I know the problems with the 1st generation Sigmas, and that these newer ones are made better...I don't want opinions on what everyone thinks of this firearm or which guns are better.
I'm not sure if I'll just hide it somewhere for a rainy day, give it to a friend or family member, or maybe resell/trade down the road.
What I really want to know is if YOU were given the opportunity to buy it for $200 and had enough in the piggy bank to buy it, WOULD YOU?0 -
Sounds like fun...but what about ricochets? Also, unless you plan on using on 22's, it would take substantial armor to keep from destroying the vehicle altogether. 0 -
sounds ok for a pellet rifle 0 -
i've seen remote control targets at many matches, some on tracks, and some on lines, but the actual targets where paper
this not the one i wanted to show it is in a strait line, but he has track for two moving targets to zigzag, and more option, mo state has hydraulic lines to activate fast moving target back and forth

Reactive armor ??
Sounds like a helluva project that you could get way deep into.
I'd shoot at it.
But then... I'll shoot at anything, and I'll take a shot at anything that moves.

Just make it so it can shoot back. That'll keep it interesting. [:D] 0 -
