4 string or 5, my guess is depending on cond. it should be worth every penny of that, can you play it at his/her house or is it new? if you can't do you have a practice amp you can drag w/you to plug in and play,Ibanez makes quality stuff, I had a Ibanez 12 string for yrs,but it got stolen by movers [:(!] when the govt moved me from job to job once,Now i just have my fender acoustic/electric six string to play,Loko[8D] btw, check on fleabay to see if you can get an average price for one

Sounds OK to me too, but really the only way to get a "value", would be to subscribe to BlueBook, they have pricing for everything. Don't know if it would be worth the 10 bucks for an online scrip, if you are only wondering about one item.
If mine was still active I would look it up for ya,.......but it isn't! I sold about 7 guitars a couple of years ago, so it was worth it for me.
As with guns,.........value is determined by what someone is willing to pay, and condition.[;)]

I too had an Ibanez 12 string. Very sweet guit-fiddle.

I never liked Ibanez guitars. But I'm not a Bass player. I use ebay to see what used guitars are bringing.

It's the AEB10. From what I've found doing a google search it looks like I'm in the ball park. There are some "pick" marks (who plays bass with a pick?) on it that you can detect in the right light at a certain angel so I think We'll have to haggle some.
