Opinions? Thinking about trading the Tiburon in for an 01 Quattro 1.8T.

I had an Audi....family has owned several. Drive them every trip to Europe. GREAT CARS! Repairs are not cheap but also not frequent in my experience. 0 -

Great cars, but very few dealers out west. Only 1 in my state, some states have none. If you break down in Tombstone Arizona, how long till a part arrives?? They are reliable, but all things break!! 0 -

They make what is called a turbo timer. For a couple hundred bucks. You shut down the car, take your key and leave, and the car continues to idle for the amount of time you wish. No one can jump in and take off without your key. If I ever get another Turbo I'll definitely invest in one.0 -
Do it Cubs, you will love the Audi. Superb quality in all areas. Besides that Tiberon is'nt exactly going up in trade in value. 0 -

It does help. The Tiberon is a nice looking car, has nice lines. I drive a Celica GT-S myself. But when you get behind the wheel of that Audi. They are just very high quality cars. If you have'nt driven one yet, you should atleast take one out for a drive.0 -
My uncle as the really hot A6, not the RS6, but whatever the really nice A6 is. I like it. The only problem with the Audi would be giving up the 10yr warranty in the Hyundai for saving $40/mo. It's in Carmel Indiana. I still might drive down to at least look at it. 0 -

I'd hate to think that you would need a warrenty on an Audi. Never used the one my Toyota had. I'd at least take a look at it my friend, I've never met an unsatisfied Audi owner. I was in Carmel Ind. a few years back at Corporate for meetings.0 -
We also had to roll some negative equity over to the Tiburon from the Miata. The Miata ate up some of the negative equity from the Eclipse we traded in on that. So 3k in negative equity is certainly able to be covered by the Audi, for less a month. I'm still pondering, I might drive down tomorrow. 0 -

I think it will be cheaper on all accounts, insurance, plates, monthly payment. The last Turbo we had (the eclipse) was nothing but trouble. I talked to the Mitsu shop after I left there and traded the Eclipse in, he said they stuck a new turbo in it about a month after I traded it off. $3-4k doesn't sound to good to me. I get scared off when a car has a turbo.
I think we might stick with the Tib for now. I really like the styling and it's a decent performer. Plus a 10yr/100,000mi warranty backing me up is really nice.
