Bought a new toy today!!!! Did I do OK???

Took a 80 mile trip to a VERY LARGE gun shop today. I was originally going to buy a Mini-14, but as I browsed the handgun display, there was a Glock 17L that looked like it needed a new home. Apparently this gun was bought at this same shop, then traded back in. It looks absolutely brand new. Got the gun, case, two 17 rd mags, and all the stuff that comes with a new Glock....all for $549. What do you guys think???? Did I do OK????? I haven't taken any pics yet, but I'll try to get some on here soon. Just has to share my excitement!!!!

    Actually, I didn't think it was too high for a 17L. Most of those I have seen go for over $600. Now if it were a "regular" Glock, that would be high. I'm actually thinking about getting another Glock with the Fire/EMS/Law Enf. discount. They have included Fire/EMS on the discount, so now may be the time to get a new Glock 20!!!

    Does seem a bit high, depending on the sights. I sell them everyday with 3 hi caps for 489. 539 for 45's and 10mm.

    You sell the longslide G17's for $489? How much do you get for a G34?

    Are you selling the 17 or the 17L for $489? That's a decent price for the 17, but an outstanding price for a 17L.

    Ported Barrel? I think the early long-slides had ported barrels... that would add value I think...

    I think that was a decent price on the pistol, no steal, but not bad. I was looking at buying a "blue lable" Glock using my Medic ID as well. I was looking for a G34 with night sites and the price was pretty decent, but no steal. One nice thing about the discounted Glocks is that they come with 3 mags vs the normal 2 mags, well that is what the dealer said.

    I ended up finding a good deal on a used G35 with night sites for $500 [:)]. Now that I just ordered a 9mm Olympic Arms rifle that takes Glock mags I need to get a G34 now too.

    I've had this Glock 17L for three days and haven't got to shoot it yet. This is driving my NUTS!!!! Oh well, I'll be off work Fri, Sat, and Sun. Maybe I will get to shoot it then.
