Guitarists unite....I have a question
A friend of mine bought an electric guitar and amplifier in hopes of learning to play. I've played for a good 13yrs now. He couldn't learn very quickly and is deciding to sell it.
It's a pretty new Peavey Stratocaster(sunburst) and a Fender Frontman 15B(bass) amplifer, 15' cord, brand new $25 tuner, and gig bag, for $65.
I've played it and it sound good.
I just built my own Strat about a year ago, but thought of building another. My question to you is, obviously this is a good deal, if I buy the guitar and have no use for the amp, what do you think I could get out of the amp?
BUT!
I've been wanting to get a good acoustic pickup to add to one of my Acoustics for a long time. Which should I do?

sell the amp, sell the acoustic, and get a kramer ferrington. 0 -
You should be able to get at least 50 bucks out of the amp, unless it is beat to death.
They went 75 to 125 bucks new, for a 15W, I believe, depending on variation.0 -

Kind of what I was thinking.0 -
For that small of an investment you can keep the bass amp for an accustic guitar or keyboard. If you play out it will come in handy to have around.
Or you could have a give away for the bass players here. [;)][:D]0
