Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God
was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded
    Colts flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very
special; not everyone gets a house up here."

Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the
porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story
mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an
enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots
    towel.

Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I
have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even
went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point Peyton?"
"Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?"

    God chuckled, and said:
    "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine."

    GO PATRIOTS!!! [:D] [8D] [:D]

For all the records he has and will continue to set, I do not see Peyton Manning and the Colts besting the Patriots. The Colts will IMO be outcoached altogether and outplayed on defense.

    You've got the story backwards.

I think the Colts have a chance this year. Their run defense has been top notch this post season. Corey Dillion has nothing that Larry Johnson and Mr. Ray don't. If they can keep pressure on Tom to keep him from threading the needle, they might have a chance. Peyton needs to fix his issue and come out throwing the ball.

Like Tarkenton and Marino before him, Peyton just can't seem to win the big one and go "to the dance". I believe it's because the "horses" simply aren't there for him to ride all game long.

But, the Pats and Colts still have to play the game for all 60 minutes and anything can happen as was evidenced by the Chargers ouster last Sunday.

Should be interesting. Hopefully, not a blowout.

I think this is Peyton Manning's last change to prove himself, or be like Jim Kelly and Dan Marino..."Yeah, they were great but..." and the unspoken words will be they never won the Super Bowl.

Exactly. Maybe not his last chance, but he may certainly be one of those in that hall of fame with only one or no rings. We'll wait and see.

Same for me. I like the colts, being an Indiana Resident. I've been raised a Bears fan. And the Saints have Drew Brees, Purdue grad. The only team in the run that I don't like are the Pats. Boooo.

Being a Jets fan, I really don't root for the Patsys.

Still never forgave the Colts for pulling out of Baltimore in the middle of the night like cowards. And I still think Manning is overrated.

Not a Saints fan. I do remember the Chuck Muncie days, though.

Guess I'll root for the Bears[?]

This is the biggest game of Manning's career.
Win this one, and the next, and he will rank with the all time greats.
Lose tomorrow, and play badly, Manning will become the butt of jokes.

Doesn't matter- whichever one that wins will lose to either the Bears or the Saints, that is unless they can get a fix with the officials that did the game last year.

Our cellar dwelling, non draft pick choosing, sucky azz quarterback having, can't beat our own B team , Mario Williams couldn't sack his own mother having Texans beat the Colts. They don't stand a chance against the Patriots, closest it will be will be right before the coin toss 0-0. [:D][:D][:D]
