wanna talk to each other w/o giving out your phone number? call 1-641-678-3404, it's a free conference line, you get a recording and you dial in a 3 digit extension y'all agree upon (any up to 999 I think) and you're connected to a party line. so u can talk amongst yourselves!

...or you can dial a random extension and listen in.

    long before computers were there to play with, I was a phone phreaker. I did international prank calls, I wanted to know all about how the switchboards work, etc. I would have been a natural born hacker. but those days are over. I still got lists of weird phone numbers...

    I did a prank call to England, probbaly about 1985, and we sat and talked for a while. it was before he was going to work. he was a roofer. it was raining a little bit over there. I told him I was still living at home with the folks, and he told me to enjoy it while I can, it's a hard world. he wished me luck and went off to work.
