buying the rifle would not be as bad as what it would cost to FEED it,,,I have thought about a 50 several times but just cant bring myself to pay that much for ammo 0 -

My friend has a Barrett .50. To carry that thing around in the woods you would have to be a very strong, in-shape man. I would like to have one. The gun, that is. 0 -
I mounted the nightforce in tactical rings, lapped them in, torqued the rings with a torque wrench, everything perfect. With both ball ammo and Barrett ammo,..I could barely keep it on target at 500yds. I was very unimpressed to say the least. The armalite bolt gun will outshoot it six ways till sunday at under 1/2 the cost.
For a 50bmg,..you really need to handload. The ammo you can buy is crappy at best making the guns an expensive venture in mediocrity.0 -

there is an 82a1 for sale with no papers..I would like it... but i don't have the money, would any one like to donate to hotshoot needs a new gun fund??0
