hk, if your going to enjoy the new pistol more than the old gun, its a great trade! i dont own a ton of guns, but i wouldnt have a rifle that i wouldnt shoot, or one that would sit for a long time, im not a collector, im a shooter.

that was my reason for trading. when i bought this gun 308 ammo wasnt as high as it is now. that and i have wanted a pistol in 223 for awhile now and this opportunity came up. i just hope i'm not getting bent over two far. i think its a fare trade but my friend thinks i'm getting screwed but i dont see how. right now on gunbroker the cetme's are only going to 500 to 700 there arent any thors on gunbroker right now but other places have them listed about the same.

If you don't shoot it that much might as well trade it. Inexpensive surplus 7.62x51 is getting hard to find. The ATF recently passed their own import barrel ban. That's what could be making Cetme's go up in value as you now have to use a US non-chrome lined barrel to build them.

Well you won't burn much ammo with it, I guess I would pass on the single shot in case I missed.Your the one you have to make happy so what ever floats your boat.[:D][:0]

I wouldn't, but I have no use for it!

Looks like on the auction side, the Thor asking price is around $500.

Although they are going for more now, the Century cetme prices back 5years or so ago were $300 wholesale, you didn't say what kind of scope mount, that could be $30 to $300. Mags are cheap now, I've seen them for $2 each and less if you buy a quantity.

Looks like a fair deal if you want the Thor [:)]

look up cetme on the auction side, you could just sell the rifle in pieces and make the money to buy the gun you want, and keep the scope
