I'm surpise that I am legend didn't get better reviews on GB than it did. It's a SHTF senario that you guys all love. No body even mention his choice of guns.
So I want to hear from you. If you were in his place what weapons would you choose and what would you do different than Will?
Anyone who hasn't seen the movie. Here's a round up. 99 percent of the world has contracted a virus. It drives them mad, they can't stay in sunlight, they are much faster and stronger than normal people, moving almost cheetah like.
They are hungry. They are trying to kill and eat the other 1 percent.

    ar 15, 45 auto, and Id have to add a 12ga like a spa12
    and with 99% dead what more could you really do ?
    if you went to far out searching for that 1% you could get caught out in the dark [:0][B)][:D]

    He's miltary so why didn't he have an armored Humvee. I would have one and I would mount UV light all over it and my rifle. He11 I have a suit with nothing put UV lights.

    Will Smith as a action hero is a real big leap. Now if he starred in a movie where he is crying in the cellar with his blanket and teddy bear, now that would more believable.

    SPOLIER : Smith dies to save the girl and her son.He figures out the antecdote is in the blood . Girl and son drive to Vermont to safe place . People are seen leaving the "safe" compound at the end going back into the world.

    besides - I've never been that lucky to be the one percent who avoided something bad... so I guess I'll give all y'all a run for your money...

    The .308 in a FAL would be minimum..and given unlimited firearms to pick from, there are even better choices.

    He never won ANY engagement with the creatures.until the last one. Call THAT a win..at least the show.(thank GOD) ended there..
    Strike three;
    Totally unable to kill a deer.with HUNDREDS of them gamboling about.
    Strike four;
    Totally underestimated his oponents..trapped in his own snare. Reacted like a dummy.as he walked up to the dummy.

    A movie one would expect from people that have never been anywhere nor done anything save snort white stuff off mirrors.

    you know realism isn't allowed in movies. It's to real and it might damage our psyches. We can only watch illicit sex and gun hating scenarios. [}:)]
