"white sound" FOR TINNITUS
Take one small radio, set it on bedside table close to your head(well not close enough to get electrocuted) put it on AM or FM tune it BETWEEN stations to where all you get is static, turn the volume to same level as the ringing in your ears, you then hear the static instead of the ring, this is better! another "BELIEVE IT OR NOT", thank you very much and as always my advice is FREE!!!

I have a better method.
I have a small radio next to my bed and I just tune in my radio station and turn up louder then my ringing and sleep like a baby[:)]0 -

didn't know i had it until you guys mentioned it, never knew what it was and i thought it was normal
i sleep with a fan every day of the year, watch discovery channel or something similar till i fall asleep, then for some strange reason my hearing gets amplified, i wake up turn and it off0 -
This is gonna sound weird, but is what I have been told, even by some doctors.
I have mild tinnitus, and really don't notice it until I go to bed.
I used to sleep with the TV, or radio on all night to cover it up.
Problem for me, is I am a "super light" sleeper.
A doctor told me that I was not getting any quality sleep, even when I was "out", as my subconcious brain, was listening to the stimulating sounds on the above.
I bought one of those true white noise machines, that sound like light rain, a running stream, or ocean surf.
Put it on the nightstand as close to you as possible, and only turn it up loud enough, to mask the tinnitus.
After doing that, I found I slept a lot better, and wasn't awake 12 times during the night.
Another good option is to put one of those satelite music stations on very low, on the TV, tuned to very light classical music,.......whether you like it or not. Most of the screens are dark, so you don't get the flashing lights from TV programs, but you hear low very peaceful sounds that cover it up.
Try it some night!0 -

tell us more, was this from experience?
i for 1 have never puked in bed, in fact i have not puked in 15 years, if puking in bed is a concern you may want to seek medical advice or counseling0
