Product Marketabilty Survey...
How many of you guys who live in areas with lots of snow would consider purchasing these things for your 4 wheelers and off road vehicles? I'm considering selling these at our gun store...thought they might draw in some addtional customers. In my area, you cannot get up into the national forrest in the winter, due to snow...unless you have a snowmobile. These things would enable people with 4 wheelers to get up the forrest roads. Thanks for the input!

As much as I like the idea, I probably wouldn't buy 'em. But you know your clientele better than I. Do high-end (and, I have to say, incredibly cool)gadgets sell in your store? Or are your customers more apt to sink the money into a good set of mud-&-snows?
In other words, do get enough of a Cabelas crowd or more of a CheaperThanDirt crowd?
I'm sure these thoughts have already crossed your mind, but I'm really close to being an advanced member, and I really want those gold stars...0 -

We are just getting started here, but the town I live in is kind of on the poor side. The area is booming and realestate is going through the roof. The only way into the national forrest in the winter is with a snowmobile...there's 15'-30' of snow up on top of the mountains. These things would open up the forrests to a lot more folks in the winter.0 -
ECC, I would think anyone with harsh winters would appreciate a product like that. I must admit I have never seen these items for sale until I clicked on the link you posted, I searched the entire site, watched all the video clips and was pretty amazed by this product. Id like to have a set for my jeep, especially right now during this ice storm were having here in Missouri; however, I found no information on price and I think that is the ultimate question to consumers on something like this....are they even affordable to the average joe? 0 -
Here in northern Maine a few of the ATV dealers sell them or one similiar. They have not proved to be a big seller in this area. 0 -

Jeep...they sent me out a packet, but did not include a price list. I will contact my sales rep on Monday to see about pricing. If I get into selling them, I might list them here on GB.0 -

When I saw them a few years ago, they were up words of 10,000 for a set that would go on a truck. Now that was when they were newer, maybe their prices have since went down.
It would be cool to have these on a small tractor if you had a lawn business or something similar. Tracks make things float amazingly well.0 -
I would say buy a set demonstrate it to others then take orders as they come.
It doesnt look like an impulse buy and how easy is it to install?0 -

They are supposed to install in less than 30 minutes...just take your lug nuts off and pull the tire and put these things on...0 -
My first reaction was they look dangerous. Four open tread belts to grab a pant leg or foot. DOn't mean to be a prude. I would love to have an ATV but they aren't the most fastest thing to operate to begin with. 0 -
I guess I wonder what keeps these thing from flipping over once they're installed, (as you run them)? 0 -
One of the unintended consequences of "getting more folks into the woods" is that now there are more folks in the woods! 0 -
A local shop sells the ATV version. The owner says they move fairly well. 0 -
I'd buy 'em just to drive around town with. That'd be awesome. Maybe I could run over a German like on Band of Brothers. 0 -
