what can i shoot?
my dad recently bought a smith and wesson revolver and its chambered for 357 ctg. (accounding to the barrel). can this revolver shoot the 357 magnums? also, my uncle says he shoots 38's in his 357...can my dad's also? thanks for any help

357 ctg is a 357 cartridge... that would include 357 mag. It will also shoot a 38..

any firearm chambered for the .357 mag. can also fire 38s. But NEVER fire 357s in weapons chambered only for the 38 special. 0 -
.357 is a nice round to reload. [Ammo is rather pricy.]
And there are a zillion loads for it.0 -

you never want to shoot .38's then .357's with out cleaning the cylinder, if your going to shoot both the same day shoot the .357's first
