Well, the key word is "decent". My answer to that is Leupold.
I hunt with a buddy that has a Burris on his Desert Eagle; it seems to be OK.0 -
BURRIS is the only way to go on a pistol scope only because Nightforce don't seem to make one.
I've had a 2 1/2X7 on my 14" 375 JDJ for years with no problems along with lots of 3x12/s on other ones.
You can find good used one on the net for around $100.00 ranging from 2X and up.....0 -
Burris, Bushnell and Swift all make a quality product. Burris is on the high end and therefore you will end up paying for it, but their warranty is the best. 0 -
Burris. If it were a .22 and not a .223 you could get away with Simmons or Bushnell, but once you are shooting centerfire cheap will work out to be poor economics. 0 -
I have a Burris 2to7 on my TC 223 and a 2x Nikon on my Redhawk 44magnum. They have both worked well. Most all of the pistol scopes under $100 are not very good. 0 -
I used a Leupold M8-2X for several years on a S&W 629. It held up well for several thousand rounds till I replaced it with a Red Dot sight. 0 -
