Doesn't look like that's her goal, but in this case, I'd say it's well deserved.0 -
if an actual chemical burn, it would have begun healing after cessation of contact and thorough cleaning...why would you keep wearing the things after the first idea that something was wrong?
even for 15 minutes?0 -
Another reason to stay away from crappy Chinese products. And yet, we keep flooding America with said crap.
I guess we need to help them continue to finance all those fancy, and reportedly very effective, new missiles and attack subs they have put on-line.
Thanks Bill & Hill! Thanks GW! Thanks WalMart! Thanks to everyone who buys Chinese crap!
We will regret it someday. China is NOT our friend and we are directly responsible for giving them the $$$ and the technology they so desperately needed to upgrade their military.0 -
i wonder why they use latex, and rubber gloves to handle chemicals?
she even started out with

You should join my movement against flip-flops!
They shouldn't be worn for driving because they've been proven to cause accidents. They shouldn't be worn around the mall because the rest of us have to slow down behind your incessant shuffling. They shouldn't be worn while flying, because in an emergency exit, you and the rest of us behind you will end up trapped and burned alive. They shouldn't be worn while riding a motorcycle, because when you crash, my insurance dollars will have to pay to rebuild your mangled feet. They shouldn't be worn in polite company, because I don't want to see your ugly, stinkin' toes. And they shouldn't be worn everyday, because you're going to end up with wide, flat feet...And with our socialist system of health-care, I'm going to end up paying for that too. And then there's that annoying slap, slap, slap noise. Why not just wear a cow bell? Oh, I also heard the made in China versions will literally burn your feet alive!
Help keep 'em where they belong, in the public shower!

maybe you should wait until they're planning to have one of those 'emergency disembarkation' drills. [:D]0 -
I'm calling BS on the whole story. I do not believe that her feet went from healthy, to massively infected, to mostly healed in less than three weeks.
If this was a problem with all of the sandals from that supplier there would be literally thousands of people with burns on their feet.

yep, and i don't think there is a lawyer out there that would advocate her putting this information on a web site for them to review, nor would anyone in their right mind, sounds highly suspicious of underlying motives than just informing the public0
