I do Love Sig's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgjmtj9TgX8I know I have Smith & Wesson on my signature line but thats just cause thats what I grew up with.My fathers Colts didnt come out near as much as his Smiths.I personally think Sig is the best arms maker in the business and followed very close by H&K.

When you grow up you will learn the error of your ways. 0 -

Pretty impressive,..........guess that's why I own one![;)]
Could never do that to any of my guns though!![:D]0 -
No other guns stack up like Sigs in my opinion. 0 -
When I grow up huh?Apparently Im not grown enough to understand how that is a point to be made here or have anything to do with my post,so perhaps you would explain that to me? 0 -
Here's my vote for the 220. Yep, I do love 'em, but you are right, I couldn't do that to my guns. 0 -
Yup, love my SIGs. 0 -
I love glocks 0 -
I like SIG firearms also but think that video is Hoky.
I gaurentee you I could wreck that pistol with the stuff they pulled.
That video reminded me of WWF style pistol testing.0 -
Sigs are phenomenal, that's for sure. High quality, durable, accurate, tough, good looking. . . all the qualities of a good German or Swiss.[:D][:D][:D] 0 -
I love SIGs much more than glocks. They're actually comfortable to shoot. Love my 226. 0 -

I like SIGs too, but this is a bunch of BS.
No offense, but a SIG is made of hardened steel (ie like most guns).
I don't care what you use to hit it with, a rock, hammer, or bulldozer; driving it into dirt isn't going to wreck it, just make it dirty.
Dragging it behind a car? So you scratch the outside finish.
Dropping it from a helicopter? I could see a weak-framed gun breaking here, but the block of ice acts as a shock absorber.
A more realistic (and worthwhile) "torture" test, would be seeing how many rounds it could fire without cleaning or breaking a part, and/or seeing how dirty you could get the thing (bore obstruction, of course, aside) and have it still function.
My understanding is real military testing does look at these things and of course the SIG excelled at them, only eventually to be outbid (but not outperformed) by the Beretta.0 -

Not saying the film is or isn't fixed, but you do know extreme cold makes metal brittle correct? I think thats what they might have been trying to say.0 -
i like sigs, but it was very much over dramatized
"roar over the 226's on near concrete solid ground" {grass}
"then to add insult to injury i had the cats industrial jack hammer pummel the frame of the 226" {then pushes it into soft ground about 3 inches}
they started out with 2, the dropped one with out ice then one in a block of ice, drug both together , then at the end pretend there was only one to test fire, not saying anything about sigs them-self, but the guys who made that are great exaggerators0
